Is there any way to achieve the following:

  • recognize an ASIO soundcard to get around Windows‘ internal processing of the signal internally (resampling etc.)
  • stream in HiRes (soundcard provides 192kHz/24bit)

That way, I could use SWYH as a highest quality „bridge“ to stream my analog signals into my LAN.

thanks for pointing that out
I did try, and it sees my renderer (a Linn DS), follows the Sample frequency settings but is not completely able to stream to it. Playback stops and starts constantly (I can see that in the program's window) and there seems to be no sound - for lack of communication between the units, I assume. I tried a few options (like wav-header), but to no avail. So: still in the process of looking and researching.
btw.: it would be awesome, if SWYH-RS would be able to also stream 24bit. I'd like to build a little "conversion box" with a studio quality soundcard, that streams my analog gear (like a studion quality tape recorder) into my digital streaming chain...

I will advise you to open a new thread on the swyh-rs project because @dheijl is very responsive on his project .. Here with SWYH you may not have too many answers ..
