Good day,
Your project is great! The way to create such a cheap device is very smart. I want to use TE-Q1 thermal camera instead of FLIR lepton 3.5 which would give me more than twice as high resolution. One of the reasons why I want to use TE-Q1 because lepton is not going to be available till the end of July and TE-Q1 is the best thermal camera so far in the market for its price. They also provide SDK for Raspberry Pi which is great. What are the main parameters in your opinion that I should look for to make it compatible with your code?

Thanks for the kind words! I am not familiar with this camera but think it should work as long as there is an interface for RasPi to take pictures (or videos) with a reasonable sampling frequency (depends on how realtime you want for the display and measurement).
Some modifications will be needed to capture FLIR images and for the face registration in infrared frames.
