Windows lock on resume after suspend

I'm running Ubuntu 24.04 on a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop. Recently (within the last week), when I wake my laptop from a suspended state, any VS Code windows that were previously open have the title and tool bar, but are otherwise blank. I can click on items in the tool bar, such as File > Exit, or click the x in the title bar, but it doesn't close the window. I'm forced to manually terminate all code processes to get anything in VS Code working.
