On first launch, sometimes the permissions dialog pops under rather than over, so the user can't see it, and the hotkeys won't work. 😿

The permissions dialog isn't owned by Switch, but it can at least show the preferences window with a pane that contains some kind of status board that can be used to (re)request AX permissions…

Switch should really show a specific window for guiding people through the process like Bartender does. I'm not sure if it's possible to automate it for the user instead of walking them through the process of managing Accessibility permissions, but that would be nice as well.
