Project abandoned?

Hi,

Is the openHAB iOS app project abandoned and without maintainer? I can see last commit from January, coinciding with last official release (2.4.20).

We can see that many fixes and improvements have not been made it to the app (See https://github.com/openhab/openhab-ios/projects/9 for 2.5 features and fixes), including full UoM support with certain widgets.

Hi @timbms I was actually looking at this yesterday as well (thanks @ssalonen for bringing this up), are you still involved in this project ?

My work load is overwhelming. I have no time to even keep track of the discussion.
I am still following but I will not be able to push the project anymore.

TestFlight and/or release builds have to be done by one of the maintainers locally through fastlane. It's time consuming and cumbersome.

Thanks @weakfl , what is the advantage of having a separate private repo vs using our existing one and something like Github secrets for API keys and passwords?

Passwords and the like would be stored as github secrets. The private repo would be used for storing (encrypted) certs and provisioning profiles.

@digitaldan steps for generating an ASC api key are documented here. Role should be 'App Manager'.
