I was configuring my little sibling's Brave Browser on her Android phone following the Privacy Guides webpage on web browsers. After a while, I decided to recheck if I had missed anything, so I looked at my own phone's configuration to compare and saw that I did not select "Auto-redirect AMP pages" on hers like I did for my own configuration. I then rechecked Privacy Guides' webpage again and saw that there were actually no instructions for redirecting AMP pages. I was sort of confused because I remember hearing about AMP pages being a bad thing a few months ago (though I cannot remember where specifically). Can anyone explain why it isn't a suggested configuration? Not a particularly techie person, by the way. |

AMP is something Google made to have page loading faster, but it means you directly using Google. Brave added that feature to bypass AMP feature and go to original website |
