failed to use gpt4-o mini

I added gpt4-o mini and set the default model to gpt4o-mini but when i ran plandex tell -f plan.md i got error {{my_api_key}} environment variable is not set.

i did export the OPENAI_API_KEY even set to .zshrc on my mac but still got this error.

plandex models add > openai > set "gpt-4o-mini" as model name > set yes to every questions after that.
