When typing the ` character on an abnt-2 layout keyboard nothing happens.

When typing the ` character on an abnt-2 layout keyboard nothing happens.

` (grave) is a dead key. that means, it waits for the key after it.
that means you could write "à".
there also exist keys that just type a backspace.

intended or not, the program wants you to type a backspace, not a grave.
