This page has common questions for those administering the site and managing the testers.

How can I create new test material?

All test material originates in EPUB files in this repository. Start by copying an existing book and try to follow the style. We will add test IDs later -- you don't have to know those ahead of time. Everything else you should be able to do by following what's there already. We find that tests are most effective if they are atomic; i.e. they test exactly one thing.

If I change the test material, do users have to re-test?

Yes, usually. If anything about a test changes (e.g. anything within that test's <section> element), it triggers re-testing. Re-testing just means that a user sees their evaluation flagged as Update required when they login and go to their manage page.

Can more than one person edit an evaluation?

No. Collaborative editing is not supported at this time.

Can a moderator assign an evaluation to someone?

Yes. The moderator should first create the evaluation and then choose the tester from the drop down box. Evaluations cannot be later reassigned at this time.
