The rapid speed of digital growth has led to a spread of vulnerable infrastructure and its unauthorised exploitation. This talk aims at developing an understanding of modern cyber attacks and its mitigations techniques. It covers various techniques used to analyse and detect vulnerable workloads using vulnerability scanning, deep packet inspection and compliance frameworks. It also focuses on how containerising workloads (using Docker) results in mitigating cyber attacks
